www.edmontonjobboard.ca is a free and easy job posting website that allows you to get your job information on the internet if your organization does not have a job posting component on its website. It also allows you to type up an information rich job post and include preferred contact information. If you are like me and dislike the rigidity of the Canada Job Bank in allowing customization of its job ads, this site is ideal.
www.edmontonjobboard.ca allows you to create a custom business profile and user account. There is an open format as to how you write up your job ads. You can include as much or as little information as you would like, if you can type it in Microsoft Word you can post it to their website. It allows you to maintain active and inactive jobs, and provides you with information through the Job Post Manager as to how many views your posting has. The other fantastic thing about this website is that postings on it are automatically added to www.allstarjobs.ca as well as www.wowjobs.ca, both job search engines that are frequented by job seekers. It is a free, simple and effective way to increase your exposure to qualified candidates and attract a greater volume and quality of job applicants, all in line with providing value to your organization!
